Changing Suits works with organisations and local services to raise awareness of their causes and the services they provide to the South Asian community.
Having worked with a number of local service providers, many tell us that they have very low engagement with this community. This is despite national data illustrating may issues and problems within the South Asian community is on par, and in may cases exceeding, other communities. Our research suggests that the cultural stigma around many topics is an important factor in this lack of engagement, which is why we are determined to work with local organisations to break down cultural barriers and ensure individuals from this community receive the helps they need.
